I have no previous climbing experience, is Clip 'n Climb for me?

Clip ‘n Climb is designed to be fun for EVERYONE regardless of ability! The difficulty of our challenges vary so there’s something for everyone to have a go at, from beginners to experts. All ages welcome! Our staff will also be there to assist with those less confident.

How long do Clip 'n Climb sessions last?

90 Minutes – Sessions comprise of a 30 minute safety briefing and harness fitting, followed by 55 minutes in the arena and 5 mins to debrief and remove your harnesses.

When do I need to arrive?

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your session so we can ensure you are signed in and ready for briefing. Please be mindful that the spaces are very limited for parking.

Is there parking on site?

Yes, we have limited parking at the back of the Centre, but this can get quite full. Please ensure you arrive in enough time so you can find a place in close proximity to the centre. There is also a ‘Pay & Display’ carpark within 300 mtrs. PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN ‘BODYWORLD’ CAR PARK. (This is located by our entrance)

If you require disabled parking please contact the centre in advance of your visit.

If you use the Pay and Display car park please bring your proof of payment and we will reimburse you by way of money off a cafe purchase.

What should I wear?

Please wear comfortable clothing and trainers.

Open toed shoes, flip flops, boots, crocs, rock shoes or heels are not permitted in the climbing arena.

Long hair must be tied back and all loose jewellery, hats or hooded tops must be removed prior to climbing for safety reasons.

Do I need to bring any equipment with me?

No, equipment is provided by us and there are no additional hire fees for this.

Do you have wheelchair access?

Yes, we have a lift in the entrance hall by reception.

For disabled parking please contact the centre prior to your visit

Do you have lockers?

Yes, we have small lockers available in our arena that are free to use. They are big enough for coats or a small bag.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Indeed we do. They are available to purchase through our website as a E-Gift Voucher – These can then be emailed to the recipient or alternatively printed as a gift.

Our staff in the centre are also always happy to assist you in purchasing these onsite if you experience any difficulties.

Can I leave my child unattended?

Children under 12yrs need a responsible adult on site, but from 12 and over they can be left here unattended. In order for a 12+ year old to be left unattended during their visit, we will require a parent/guardian to check them in at reception and ensure a climbing waiver is signed along with a under 18’s disclaimer.

Mini Mountaineers & Mini Mountaineers+

Mini Mountaineers is aimed at 2-4 year olds only. This is more of an introduction to climbing, helping build confidence in little ones, getting them used to the arena and become familiar with the walls, with singing, games and storytelling. However, children of this age can also just climb if they’re confident enough. The Mini Mountaineers+ is for children from 2 to 7. This is for more confident littles ones who want to climb with a lively atmosphere and older siblings/children within the session.

Parties

We require a £50 non-refundable deposit to secure all party bookings. All remaining balances need to be paid 48 hours before the party, and all waivers must be completed.
